Dampness and moisture result in termites breeding

Termite Control
What are Termites?
Termites infest and breed underground, in the soil. They crawl up through the minute cracks and crevices in the foundation and reach the walls of your building. As they march forward, they build mud channels to provide themselves with darkness and higher humidity which they require to survive. When you notice such marks on your walls it is an indication that your house is under attack by termites.
Termites, destroy valuable property, documents, furniture and furnishing, anything that contains cellulose. They work silently and swiftly, before you are aware of the damage done.
How to get rid of Termites?
Ground Treatment for Termites:
To arrest the movement of termites from the ground, holes are drilled from inside your premises at the junction of the wall and the floor at an angle of 45 degrees. The holes are drilled along the side of the entire wall at approximately 18” intervals. Concentrated chemical is injected in these holes that are later blocked with wax.
This service is provided for the entire building or structure where all the sides are accessible at ground level, from outside.
This is a one-time treatment and charged as per square foot of affected area.
For larger premises such as buildings or societies, we offer a contract with three to five year warranty. This includes two chargeable services, per annum.

Preventive Measures for Termites:
Termite Control must be done before the new flooring is laid so that the drill marks are not seen on the new and expensive flooring. Care should be taken while fixing furniture and at least one side of the wall should be devoid of fixed furniture, otherwise drilling in the later years will not be possible.
What are White Ants?
White ants are termites that attack wooden flooring, furniture or any surface covered with natural or artificial wood. Moist wood and wood in direct contact with soil or wet surface, provide ideal conditions for white ants.
How to get rid of White Ants?
-
The infestation requires extensive treatment with special chemicals. All affected area is first sprayed with insecticide. If infestation has gone deeper into the wood, then, chemical is injected with a syringe.
-
This treatment is offered as a contract consisting of three services annually.
Preventive Measures for White Ants :
As a preventive measure we highly recommend special chemical spraying of all new wood at preconstruction stage. This is because commercially pre-treated plywood too, is not 100% termites resistant.
