Wood Borer Control

What are Wood Borers?

Wood Borers are insects (beetles) that drill holes into wooden furniture or any wood item, leading to powder falling from them. The powder or dust falling from the holes in the wood is the excreta of the Borers and undigested cellulose of wood.

How to get rid of Wood Borers?
Wood Borers require extensive treatment with special chemical. All affected area is first sprayed with insecticide. If infestation has gone deeper into the wood, then, chemical is injected with a syringe.

This treatment is offered as a contract consisting of three services annually.

Preventive Measures for Wood Borers:
As a preventive measure we highly recommend special chemical spraying of all new wood at preconstruction stage. This is because commercially pretreated plywood too, is not 100% insect resistant.
